Bollocks

BTW, this post was written earlier, but I think it stands - even in hindsight.

So here's the age-old dilemma.

West Ham to beat the Rags (what can I say? Always had a soft spot for that particular claret & blue, though I don't feel the same about Villa, and though - again - I do quite like Burnley [despite BNP associations and Alistair Campbell. I think it's because my uncle Terry was a fan] and I particularly like Bubbles) and put an end to this unbeatables shite that - like the sodding weather - just won't go away. Of course that would mean that City would be in a worse position, but let's face it, what hope have we realistically got of doing any better than somewhere between 8th and 14th, with the latter far more likely, needless to say?

In any case, those red bastards are going to do the Irons, it's plain for all to see. Zola's built a tidy side, but they're sorely lacking in the teeth department. God knows what's going to happen to them with all this Baugur bollocks, but I wish them well, despite the blotted copy book And there we will have it, Utd sitting on top of the league, game in hand, blah blah blah...

They'll win the league again. Benitez hasn't got it and Chelsea are amusingly shite (as opposed to, say, Newcastle, who are seriously, tragically, depressingly so).
Reckon you'll do any better next year?

How true. How depressing. The Premier League has broken another 'big' man and the roadshow rumbles on. As for next season, I can't see any of the foundations that someone like O'Neill has laid down at Villa, or the breeze blocks (what about bloody Jo?!!) Moyes has at Goodison (or wherever they may be) so the short answer is: no.
