Martin Petrov. Bulgaria's number 1 (despite playing only 12 games last season) is now a Blue.
This is a good thing, I'm sure. As a left winger, perhaps he'll bring back a bit of the Peter Barnes buzz that used to get me going in the, er, glory days of 1976. Plus, we beat Spurs to his signature.
The most facile comment so far surely comes from the great Mike Summerbee, quoted in The Sun today:
"People will now be following our results from Bulgaria and keeping an eye out for City, this is a massive coup for us."
Eh?
